Land Stewardship
Working from the realities of the landscape, its biodiversity and its long-term environmental importance.
A state-linked collaboration bringing together land stewardship, credible project structuring and a long-term view of environmental and economic value.
Sigma Carbon is working in Terengganu through TI TerraCarbon, a state-linked joint venture involving Terengganu Inc and Sigma Carbon.
The current focus includes the Dungun Timber Complex, one of the state’s significant forested concession areas. The landscape includes formally recognised High Conservation Value Forests, is managed under internationally certified sustainable forestry standards, and supports an important concentration of biodiversity.
The opportunity is being approached as a long-term climate and commercial development initiative, bringing together land stewardship, credible project structuring, recognised carbon-market frameworks and alignment between institutional and technical partners.
Sigma Carbon’s role is to help shape the commercial pathway, coordinate the wider delivery ecosystem and ensure that the project is developed with the structure, accountability and long-term perspective required of a high-integrity nature-based initiative.
The work in Terengganu reflects the kind of opportunity Sigma Carbon was built to pursue: real assets, serious partners and the potential to create lasting environmental and economic value.

Coordinating institutional and technical partners around clear roles, shared objectives and sustained value.
Sigma Carbon is continuing to develop opportunities across nature-based projects, climate technology, carbon commercialisation and climate-linked investment.
Further projects and partnerships will be shared as they progress.
We welcome direct conversations with governments, institutions, climate innovators, investors and strategic partners.
